Marcie Gowen Promoted to Residential Loan Officer at WGSB

[Plymouth, NH: May 19, 2017] Ann Dow, Vice President and Residential Loan Officer of Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank (WGSB) announced the promotion of Marcie Gowen of Bristol to Residential Loan Officer. Marcie works from the bank’s Plymouth office, located on Tenney Mountain Highway, and is responsible for managing home mortgage and home equity services for consumers in the greater Plymouth area. She also works closely with the Plymouth office team to support many business and community development activities. Her promotion was approved by the bank’s Board of Directors at its Annual Meeting, held May 11.

“Marcie’s background in the title industry has given her a great advantage in the residential mortgage industry, because she understands what it takes to close a loan, to meet the needs of all parties – the buyer, the seller, the realtor, and the bank,” said Dow. “Her enthusiasm and energy also make her a pleasure to work with. We are so proud to have Marcie as part of our team and look forward to working with her in the future.”

Before joining the bank in 2016, Marcie worked for Paramount Settlement Services, where she coordinated mortgage closings with homebuyers and sellers. Marcie is a graduate of Plymouth Regional High School and Plymouth State University, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. In addition to her professional work, she is active within the community, including current board chair of the Affiliate’s Committee for the Lakes Region Board of Realtors, secretary for the Central NH Chamber of Commerce, and affiliate member of the North Country Board of Realtors.
