To enroll in Mobile Banking from WGSB, you must first be enrolled in GOLD Internet Banking. If you are not already enrolled, click here to get started.
Customers who are interested in using the Mobile App only
Simply go to the app store for your mobile device, search for WGSB, download the application, sign in, accept the terms and conditions, and get started right away. Any customer who uses this method to access Mobile Banking and later wants to add Mobile Browsing or Text Messaging must do the following through our GOLD Internet Banking website: go to ‘Edit Personal Settings’, scroll down to ‘Mobile Banking’, and select ‘Manage Devices’. Follow the instructions to add the additional services that you wish to use.
Customers who want to enroll in multiple or other services
Log in to GOLD Internet Banking via a computer.
- Click the "Options" button, located in the upper left-hand corner of the screen.
- Locate the Mobile Banking Profile section and click "Enroll Now". Note: For security reasons, a mobile device may only be registered to one user, with one unique user code and password. Each user, however, may enroll multiple mobile devices.
- The Mobile Banking Terms and Conditions page is displayed. Select "Accept" and then "Continue".
- The Select Your Services page is displayed. Select the Mobile Banking services you would like to be available on your mobile device. Available options include: mobile app, mobile web browser (WAP), and text messaging service (SMS). Once you’ve made your selection(s), click "Continue".
- The Account Selection and Configuration page is displayed. Choose the appropriate Time Zone for your phone. Choose the accounts you want to access via mobile banking by selecting the corresponding "Eligible Accounts" check boxes and then enter the nickname you would like to use to identify each account in a text message. Click "Continue".
- The Your Mobile Device page is displayed. Enter your mobile phone number, including the area code. Click “Continue”.
- A text message with an activation code is sent to the mobile phone number entered. Message and data rates may apply. Note: The activation code expires 24 hours after you receive it.
- The Activate Your Phone page is displayed. Enter the activation code received in the text message. Click "Activate" to complete enrollment in Mobile Banking.
- Important: A text message with the short code 96924 is sent to the newly activated mobile device. Note this short code for use when utilizing WGSB’s Mobile Banking text messaging service. Individual text messages with "launch" instructions for the mobile web browser and with "download" instructions for the mobile app services (if applicable) are also sent to your mobile device. Message and data rates may apply.
How To Change a Phone Number
- Complete the following to change your mobile phone number:
- Log in to GOLD online banking via a computer.
- Click the "Options" hyperlink.
- The Edit Personal Settings page is displayed. Locate the Mobile Banking Profile section and click "Manage Device(s)".
- The Main Menu page is displayed. Select the "My Phones" tab. Locate the old phone number, select "Change my phone number" and then click "Go".
- The Mobile Phone Number page is displayed. Enter the updated phone number and click "Next".
- The Main Menu page is again displayed. Close Mobile Banking to return to your online banking session.
How To Deactivate or Stop Using a Mobile Device
Complete the following to deactivate or stop using your mobile device:
- Log in to GOLD online banking via a computer.
- Click the "Options" hyperlink.
- The Edit Personal Settings page is displayed. Locate the Mobile Banking Profile section and click "Manage Device(s)”
- The Main Menu page is displayed. Select the "My Phones" tab. Locate the appropriate phone number, select "Stop using this phone for Mobile Banking" and then click "Go".
- The Stop Using This Phone page is displayed. Click "Yes".
- The Main Menu page is again displayed. Close Mobile Banking to return to your online banking session.
