Health Benefits

Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank makes available to all full-time employees a highly competitive health care policy. The bank currently pays the premium for a high deductible health plan. The employee contributes a small percentage of the premium for individual HMO coverage. The employee has the option of adding any member of their family to the plan at their own expense.

Dental Benefits

The bank makes available to all full-time employees coverage from a first-class dental plan. The bank will pay a portion of the premium for single, two-person, and family coverage on behalf of the employee.

Vision Benefits

The bank makes available to all full-time employees a competitive vision care policy. The bank currently pays the premium for an individual plan. The employee has the option of adding any member of their family to the plan at their own expense.

Job Responsibilities 

Supports activities for the Littleton Commercial Loan Division. Coordinates loan closings with the Commercial Lenders for all types of commercial loans and Letters of Credit. Prepares loan documentation using Bank software and other sources for complete and accurate documents. Works with Lenders, Attorneys, Appraisers and Environmental companies to complete packages. Prepares and sends new loans closed to Loan Servicing for booking. Must be able to use Bank programs and work with other vendors to coordinate necessary information. Must have excellent telephone etiquette and be able to handle multiple tasks.

Knowledge/Skill Requirements

Thorough knowledge of documentation requirements for the various commercial loans. Typing/word processing, calculation of rates and interest changes. Ability to interact well with customers, professional people directly or indirectly involved with the commercial lending process, supervisor and co-workers. Candidate must be detailed oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.

Assists members of the Loan Processing Team in processing residential loans from application to commitment. 

Job Requirements:

Assists with ordering the various documents needed for a residential loan. Reviews in-process application packages and updates mortgage loan origination software as needed. Communicates with the various parties throughout the process. Assists with the preparation of secondary market commitment letters. Assists customer by telephone. Assists with the monitoring of financing contingency commitment dates and transfer of title dates. Assists lenders with correspondence, research and preparation of miscellaneous documents.

The ideal candidate will have worked as a teller, or in a cash handling or other sales/service related position. He/she will be willing to conduct sales-related conversations with our customers, process transactions in a courteous and efficient manner, follow the policies and procedures of the bank and have the ability to understand and adhere to all regulations. The weekly schedule for this position will be Monday - Saturday. Additional hours will be available during peak seasons.

Job Description:

Cross-sells financial institution products and services. Performs a variety of the normal teller functions. Processes transactions in a courteous and efficient manner. Follows policies and procedures of the bank. 

  1. Cross-sells bank products with the needs and benefits to the customer in mind. 
  2. Maintains basic knowledge of all bank products and services.
  3. Provides prompt, efficient and accurate service when processing customer transactions.
  4. Accepts checks for cashing and paying, verifies all information on check for authenticity and proper endorsement, and verifies account balance.
  5. Processes loan payments and payoffs ensuring the payment matches the balance due.
  6. Receives deposits, verifies cash, and examines checks for authenticity and proper endorsement.
  7. Maintains proper limits of cash in cash drawer in accordance with bank policy.
  8. Follows bank’s security procedures to ensure security of cash.
  9. Balances Cash Drawer in accordance with bank policy.
  10. Answers general customer service questions.
  11. May place REG CC holds on accounts.
  12. Performs additional duties as requested.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience Requirements:

Knowledge of cash handling; knowledge of standard office equipment. Working knowledge of all federal and state regulations relating to your area of responsibility. Good knowledge of Bank Security policy.

Job Description:

Performs new employee orientation. Keeps various statistics up-to-date and completes quarterly/annual reporting. Assists Human Resources with tasks associated with payroll processing, benefits open enrollment, and the electronic performance appraisal software. 

  1. Conducts new employee orientation sessions.
  2. Keeps records and prepares statistical reports concerning recruitment, interviews, hires, transfers, promotions and terminations.
  3. Assists employees and supervisors with questions and access issues regarding ADP Time and Attendance.
  4. Assists with the various tasks associated with year-end.
  5. Performs numerous tasks associated with employment applications, hiring, personnel file maintenance and paperwork for terminating employees.
  6. Completes miscellaneous monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
  7. Facilitates the employee anniversary processes.
  8. Completes retention process for HR.
  9. Keeps current on both the federal and state laws regarding all employment practices and changes in compensation law and regulations.

Marginal:

  1. Assists Payroll & Benefits Administrator with open enrollment tasks. 
  2. Serves as backup for processing payroll as well as other tasks associated with the payroll function.
  3. Maintains employee information and files within our electronic performance appraisal software.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent, 2-year college degree preferred. Three to five years of payroll processing experience required. Effective organizational, oral and written communication skills. Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Fluency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word. High degree of confidentiality required.
