Health Benefits

Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank makes available to all full-time employees a highly competitive health care policy. The bank currently pays the premium for a high deductible health plan. The employee contributes a small percentage of the premium for individual HMO coverage. The employee has the option of adding any member of their family to the plan at their own expense.

Dental Benefits

The bank makes available to all full-time employees coverage from a first-class dental plan. The bank will pay a portion of the premium for single, two-person, and family coverage on behalf of the employee.

Vision Benefits

The bank makes available to all full-time employees a competitive vision care policy. The bank currently pays the premium for an individual plan. The employee has the option of adding any member of their family to the plan at their own expense.

Life and Accident Insurance

Full-time employees of the bank are automatically enrolled in basic life, accidental death, and dismemberment insurance.

Cafeteria Plan

This health care and dependent care reimbursement account is available to all bank employees to help pay for health and dependent care expenses on a tax-free basis.

Retirement Plan

Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank offers both a voluntary 401(k) plan and a competitive company match. In addition, the Bank may offer to all 401(k) eligible employees a profit sharing percentage to be determined on a year-by-year basis.

Membership & Dues Reimbursement

The bank will provide reimbursement to each employee, up to $250.00 per year, for membership fees and dues and related expenses incurred as a result of participation in qualifying civic and community organizations.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have previous customer service experience and be willing to conduct sales and service related conversations with our customers. He/she should have extensive computer skills/knowledge; the ability to process data and analyze reports as well as handle more complex issues within the Operations department. Must follow the policies and procedures of the bank and have the ability to understand and adhere to all regulations. The weekly schedule for this position is Monday - Friday.

Job Description: 

The preferred candidate will actively cross-sell financial institution products and services in a professional manner and will perform a wide variety of customer service functions.

The CSR will provide prompt, efficient service to customers in the performance of all duties; will utilize tact and experience-based knowledge to resolve customer complaints; will explain specific policies and procedures.

Will open new accounts, manage changes to existing accounts, explain titling options, trust accounts and investment services. Will conduct interview for Consumer Loan applications, quote terms and interest rate, communicate approval or denial and coordinate closing of loan. 

Will adhere to CSR Error policy.

Performs a variety of clerical duties which require knowledge of department procedures, such as maintaining signature card follow-up list, checking accuracy on internal records generated on new accounts opened, inputting file maintenance information and the placing of holds when required. Will also perform many other CSR-related duties. 

Job Requirements:

Successful applicants will have a solid work history and prior CSR experience, communication, and interpersonal skills. Must be proficient with computers and banking experience is helpful. Appropriate attire is required. The hours for this position are Monday – Friday and alternating Saturday mornings. A satisfactory criminal and credit background is essential.
