Health Benefits

Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank makes available to all full-time employees a highly competitive health care policy. The bank currently pays the premium for a high deductible health plan. The employee contributes a small percentage of the premium for individual HMO coverage. The employee has the option of adding any member of their family to the plan at their own expense.

The preferred candidate will provide technical and operational support to end users within the system environment and assist in maintaining assigned systems and resources. This position requires flexibility with work after hours and on weekends.

Responsibilities and Duties:

· Assist with the maintenance and administration of end users PC’s and Branch Office LAN environment including:

  1. Support and troubleshoot user PC/Printer and Network problems utilizing and updating the banks established ticket/issue logging systems
  2. Staging new and/or replacement end user computers and peripherals
  3. Endpoint Protection and Update solutions including Symantec Anti-virus, Windows update and Desktop Central systems
  4. Assist with the maintenance and support of Avaya VOIP phone system
  5. Work with end users to determine desired functionalities and configure, test and deploy changes to meet end user needs
  6. Prepare documentation for troubleshooting, system administration and use by end users
  7. Troubleshoot systemic communication problems and specific end user issues
  8. Inventory Tracking

· Perform daily monitoring of the bank’s backup systems
· Maintain and expand knowledge through attendance of related schools and on line learning modules as needed
· Perform some of the functions of the Technical Support Specialist in his/her absence

Qualifications and Skills:

Responsible for making lending decisions on conventional, portfolio and construction mortgages. Assists Residential Lenders and/or Residential Loan Coordinators in structuring and re-structuring mortgage loan request.

Essential:

Underwrite residential mortgages to secondary market guidelines and to portfolio loan policy with an understanding of VA, FHA and Rural Development loans. 

  1. Ability to make lending decisions for pre-approvals, approved loans and adverse action notice.
